About me

I started learning flute and piccolo when I was 7. I was pretty vertically challenged as a kid but keen to start the flute so my teacher started me on piccolo, which is tiny. It’s a strong option whenever you have a young or small student.

I studied in Australia with a number of teachers including my first teacher Prue Page and Geoff Collins, and also in France, England and Switzerland with teachers such as Trevor Wye, Peter-Lukas Graf and Raymond Guiot.

I have been teaching flute and piccolo for the best part of 25 years. I teach AMEB, ABRSM, Trinity syllabuses as well as guide students through their HSC and International Baccalaureate programs.
